Chennai started the chase well with Faf du Plessis once again in supreme touch. Mid-way, they seemed to take it quite easy with Raina and Faf in the middle, while the run-rate kept on shooting up. When new batsmen, Dhoni and Bravo came in, they found it difficult to adjust. It was then left to the last ball and Stuart Binny bowled a good over, apart from the last ball.

So, a different nail-biting finish compared to other matches. This time only 8 runs were required off the last over. Stuart Binny was given the chance and he gave away just 6 off his five balls. But a last ball disaster from him and Kevon Cooper from the field, ensured that Chennai scrape through.

Had the throw come at the stumps and Goswami flicked the bails off, Dhoni would have been gone and we would have had a SUPER OVER! 147/3
