That's it then, we get the confirmation match is abandoned. The rains were getting heavier and the umpire decided to call off. It was a rain hampered day. We got just 9 overs of South African's batting and when England came out to bat, the play could go on till just 4.1 overs. Amla helped South Africa to reach 77 in their allotted 9 overs. England didn't get off to a good start and lost two wickets for 29 runs.

CRICKET UPDATE - Australia have beaten Pakistan by 94 runs in the third and final T20I to end the 3-match series 1-2. David Warner hit 59 for the Aussies while Mitchell Starc and Pat Cummins took 3 wickets each. Some consolation for the men in yellow ahead of the World Cup in Sri Lanka.

The news we're getting is the covers are coming off and the groundsmen are doing their work.
