Yorkshire looked sound in the beginning and at the half way as well. However, they lost track from there on and what could have been a good healthy total turned out to be a less than competitive total of 131. Lions have chased better totals than this one and against better bowling attacks. The chase shouldn't cause any butterflies in their batsmen's stomachs and should be able to take their team home safely.

19.6 S Tanvir to A Rafiq, OUT! Foxed 'em! Slower one again outside off, Rashid lifts it as he is deceived by the pace, Phangiso's safe hands come under the ball at cover and he takes yet another catch. The last ball of the innings yields a wicket and Yorkshire finish on 131/7. 131/7

19.5 S Tanvir to Dan Hodgson, Good comeback by Tanvir. Full and fast on middle, dug out for a single. 131/6

19.4 S Tanvir to Dan Hodgson, FOUR! Elegant! Similar length to the previous one but it was faster this time. Hodgson opens the face to drive this into the gap and the ball goes swiftly to the cover boundary. 130/6

19.3 S Tanvir to Dan Hodgson, Well deceived! That is a well bowled slower one outside off stump, Hodgson tries to lift it over the cover but is foxed. 126/6

19.2 S Tanvir to A Rafiq, Plays this length ball away to the leg side for another single. 4 balls to go. 126/6

19.2 S Tanvir to Dan Hodgson, No Ball! That was nasty, above waste height, hits it away to the leg side for one. 125/6

19.1 S Tanvir to A Rafiq, Top edge! Good ball by the bowler. They pick up a single. 123/6

Sohail Tanvir to start off proceedings.

Yorkshire captain, Andrew Gale and Phil Jaques stroll out to the center.

The two teams walk out onto the park to greet each other.

TOSS - Lions won the toss and elected to bowl. Alviro Petersen says that his team will try to restrict the English team and chase their total down. They have chased well in their first two matches before losing to the Sixers. Zander de Bruyn sits out and Dwaine Pretorius replaces him. Andrew Gale would have bowled too had he won the toss. They have to defeat Lions to keep their as well as the other teams' hopes alive in the tournament. Gale believes that his batsmen can notch up a good total and defend it. Yorkshire have made two changes. Ryan Sidebottom and Moin Ashraf are out due to injury. Oliver Hannon-Dalby and Iain Wardlaw come in the side to replace them.

PITCH - There is a tinge of grass on the pitch which should assist the seam bowlers with adequate lateral movement. Ideally, the team winning the toss would like to bowl first on this track.

WEATHER - It was overcast for most part of the day. However, the sun has come out now which should cheer everyone up after a few wash-outs that we have had in the past three days.

Welcome to Match 13 of the CLT20 between Highveld Lions and Yorkshire. A lot depends on this match for the other teams in this group. If the Lions win, they will join Sydney Sixers in the semis which will leave all the remaining matches in the group inconsequential.
