19.3 N Rimmington to P Negi, FOUR! Negi hits the winning runs! Full outside off stump, Negi swings and drags it past a diving mid on to the fence. Rimmington just did not get the length right in this over. Delhi win by three wickets and become the first IPL team to win against a non-IPL team in this edition of CLT20. 123/7

19.2 N Rimmington to A Agarkar, Agarkar smartly taps this full ball on middle to the leg side and Negi runs through for one. 119/7

19.1 N Rimmington to A Agarkar, FOUR! Ominous timing! Low full toss outside off stump, Agarkar sticks his bat out and drives it past a diving cover fielder and into the fence, Delhi on top now. 118/7

Delhi have bowled well to restrict Perth Scorchers to just 121-5 in their 20 overs. With the batting line up that Delhi posses, this should seem like a cake walk for their top order. Perth had their moments in their innings but couldn't kick off and make the most of those moments. Their set batsmen threw their wickets away at the wrong time which cost them about 20-30 runs. The chase will begin shortly.

19.6 U Yadav to M North, On a length on middle, lifts it over the bowler, the ball travels quickly towards the boundary, KP comes in from long on and dives full stretch to flick the ball in, just two runs taken. 121/5

19.5 U Yadav to N Coulter-Nile, Length ball outside off, Narhan smashes it straight to deep cover for a single. Can they get at least one boundary here. 119/5

19.4 U Yadav to M North, Full on off stump, drilled down to long off for a single. They need a couple of boundaries now. 118/5

19.3 U Yadav to M North, Full toss outside off stump, hits the bottom of the bat and goes to wide of long off, they take two. 117/5

19.2 U Yadav to N Coulter-Nile, Into the block hole this time on middle, takes the inside edge and rolls away to the leg side, they take a single. 115/5

19.1 U Yadav to N Coulter-Nile, Full at 143 kph outside off, Nathan misses his drive. 114/5

Herschelle Gibbs and Shaun Marsh will open the innings for Perth Scorchers. Gibbs to take strike and he will be facing Irfan Pathan.

The players have made their way out onto the field to greet and wish luck to each other.

Toss - Marcus North spins the coin and Mahela Jayawardena calls heads and wins the toss. He will bowl first and says that the wicket seems to be a bit sticky and should be better to bat on during the second half. Delhi haven't played for nine days now. They have retained the same team. North says that they have a huge wall to climb and will be up to the task. He would have batted first anyway and feels that it is a nice hard wicket. Even they go in unchanged.

Pitch - There is very little grass on the wicket. It appears to be tacky too and the side winning the toss would like to bowl first on it. Simon Doull calls it a denuded wicket and the commentators in the box look fazed by the word. It means bare or naked and rightly so as the pitch doesn't have any tinge of green on it.

Weather - The skies above the ground look clear. However, the Table Mountain has table cloth in the form of heavy looking dark clouds.

Welcome to the first of the double headers today to be played between Delhi and Perth Scorchers at Newlands. It is a must win match for Perth whereas Delhi will inch closer to a semi final berth if they win. Delhi look ominously stronger than Perth, but you never know how the game could turn out.

Rimmington to bowl the final over.
