Commentary (Rajasthan Royals innings)

AB de Villiers is named the Man of the Match, which he shared with his team-mate, Kotarangada Appanna. That's it from all of us then. Stay tuned for a double header tomorrow. The first between Pune and Delhi, while the second between Kolkata and Hyderabad. Till then, farewell!

The chase was started well by Rahane and Dravid. Rahul Dravid in particular, kept in touch with the asking rate with some quality strokes and got an half-century. Bangalore were struggling on. Chris Gayle did not come on to open. He did come on later just to get flummoxed by Brad Hogg, as he was unwell before the start of the match. Dilshan was the withstanding pillar with a 67 run knock. But take a bow, AB de Villiers. He came on coagulated 59 runs off just 22 balls. That is what propelled Bangalore to 189. Jaipur have a daunting task now. Stay tuned for the chase.

Time to get underway! The men concerned are striding out in the middle. BIG SURPRISE! Tillakaratne Dilshan and Virat Kohli are the openers for Bangalore. Ajit Chandila to start off with the proceedings. All set! Let's play says the umpire and here we go...

Bangalore - Tillakaratne Dilshan, Chris Gayle, Virat Kohli, AB de Villiers, Saurabh Tiwary, Mayank Agarwal, Daniel Vettori(c), Vinay Kumar, Zaheer Khan, Harshal Patel, KP Appanna.

Rahul Dravid has won the toss and JAIPUR WILL BOWL! He informs that Pankaj Singh and Ajit Chandila are playing, while Bangalore have brought in Kotarangada Appanna and Tillakaratne Dilshan.

On paper, Bangalore are a formidable unit with big names but matches are not won on paper and judging by the current form, Jaipur are the better of the two. Both sides would be looking to muster some important points on the table and we can expect a thrilling contest! Sit back and enjoy...

Greetings to all our viewers and thank you for tuning in to the coverage of the only match today between Jaipur and Bangalore at the former's so called fortress, the Sawai Mansingh Stadium.

18.1 S Trivedi to de Villiers, NO BALL! That may have been harsh on the bowler. de Villiers is halfway down the track to whack it through mid-wicket for one. Can he ever stop doing anything that is less than acrobatically spectacular. Replays show that as the bat was grounded just on the line, the bail just about comes up but there is no conclusive evidence against the batsman, hence given in his favour. One run completed. 122/6

Siddharth Trivedi has come to bowl.

17.6 K Cooper to T Dilshan, FOUR LEG BYES! That's unlucky. Cooper follows Dilshan with a full delivery down the leg side. Dilshan misses but the ball goes off his pads to beat the diving Goswami to reach the fine leg fence. 153/3
