Commentary (Chennai Super Kings innings)

That's it from us! A one-sided game between Hyderabad and Delhi but the Jaipur-Chennai match was a thriller. Tomorrow, we head to Pune for the game between Pune and Bangalore. Hope to have your company then. Thanks a lot for staying with us today. On behalf of the commentators and scorers, Adios! Take Care!

Okay...let's have a look at the points table. CHENNAI MOVE TO 4TH SPOT WITH 13 POINTS FROM AS MANY GAMES WHILE JAIPUR DROP DOWN TO 6TH, WITH 12 POINTS FROM 13 MATCHES.

BEN HILFENHAUS HAS BEEN NAMED THE MAN OF THE MATCH. Says that it was a very exciting game of cricket, one which suited the bowlers. Smiles on being reminded about his previous game against Mumbai but is quick to respond that every day is a different one. Admits that he enjoyed bowling on this pitch.

VICTORIOUS CHENNAI SKIPPER MAHENDRA SINGH DHONI says that it is high time the top order started to perform. You do not want it to leave it to the next batsman and that has resulted in the batsmen becoming cautious and he wants them to play more freely. Adds that Srikkanth is an exciting youngster and did exactly what you expect youngsters to do. On Morkel's batting position, Dhoni says that what Albie is doing right now is perfect and he does not want him to come up the order. JAIPUR CAPTAIN RAHUL DRAVID says that sometimes you have got to accept that the opposition played well and credits Morkel and Srikkanth for timing the ball beautifully. Admits that his team did not get off to a good start with the bat but also praises Chennai for bowling well. Adds that it is disappointing to lose like this. Says that Jaipur are still in the tournament and just need to keep on playing good cricket.

1.MAXIMUM SIXES AWARD - ALBIE MORKEL. 2.BEST CATCH OF THE MATCH AWARD - RAVICHANDRAN ASHWIN.

But Raina's wicket slowed the proceedings tremendously and when Hussey departed in the 13th over, it set the cat free amongst the pigeons. The middle order was blown apart and when Jadeja fell in the 17th over, with 43 needed from 22 balls, Jaipur was all over Chennai. But a stunning dual cameo from Morkel and Anirudha, scoring 18 from 6 balls apiece, with a boundary and two sixes each, took the game away from the hosts as Morkel hammered Watson for 18 runs in the 18th over, which eventually sealed the game. Siddharth Trivedi was the pick of the bowlers with 2/18 in 4 overs.

Right! Jaipur almost snatching victory from the jaws of defeat or should I say, it was Chennai's game to lose? They nearly let it spill out of their hands. The batsmen started off slowly, struggling and lost Vijay early. But Hussey and Raina batted nicely and at that stage, it seemed as if Chennai would win this comfortably.

Commentary (Rajasthan Royals innings)

Looks like Jaipur could find themselves short tonight. But this is a T20 and given the way the games have panned out this season, who knows....we could be in for a thriller. The second half is on the other side of the break. Stay tuned.

The Chennai bowlers were spot on tonight, with Ben Hilfenhaus leading from the front, with a spell of 4-1-8-2. Yo Mahesh supported him well with a couple of wickets.

Jaipur finish with their lowest score in this edition of the league. A bit of a start and stop innings, and as a result, the batsmen could never get time to steady themselves. The top order struggled and the duo of Hodge and Binny revived the hosts a bit. But not by much, I am afraid, for just when the team wanted them to go on a touch longer, they lost their wickets.

19.6 D Bravo to D Yagnik, FOUR! A bit of a flourish, not quite intended but they will take it. Length delivery outside off, Yagnik swings hard and gets a thick outside edge well over Dhoni to third man! JAIPUR FINISH ON 126/6! 126/6

19.5 D Bravo to A Menaria, The batsman guides it to third man. They pick up a single. 122/6

19.4 D Bravo to D Yagnik, Full outside off, 132 kph, Yagnik slashes hard and gets a thick outside edge down to third man. A single taken. 121/6

19.3 D Bravo to D Yagnik, The batsman fails to put bat on ball. 120/6

19.2 D Bravo to D Yagnik, FOUR! Well played! Short and wide outside off, 136 kph, Yagnik likes it there. Cuts it ferociously through point. The ball races away and the fielder in the deep cannot stop it. 120/6

19.1 D Bravo to D Yagnik, Outside off, played straight to point. 116/6

The players are out in the middle! Ajinkya Rahane and Rahul Dravid are the openers for Jaipur. Albie Morkel to start off the proceedings with the ball. Dravid to face. All set! Here we go!

TOSS - Dravid spins the coin, HEADS is the call from Dhoni and HEADS it is. CHENNAI WILL BOWL. Dhoni says that with rain around, the game can get shortened and if that is the case, chasing would be a better option as they can know what they are chasing. On the team changes, Dhoni says that he remembers only a couple of changes, Faf du Plessis and Badrinath are unwell and Michael Hussey and Anirudh Srikkanth come in. Adds that he thinks Shadab Jakati is also out and Yo Mahesh gets a game. That's all with the changes that he can remember. Dravid says that it looks like a good wicket and aims to put on a good score. The wicket should stay the same for the entire game. On the team changes, he says that they have got a couple as well. Brad Hodge comes back from injury. He replaces Owais Shah and Pankaj Singh replaces Ankeet Chavan.

Chennai captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni says that you need to be consistent. Adds that if you see his team's performance so far, they have won one game and lost the next and have not been able to carry the momentum forward. The batting has been a bit of a worry and the batsmen are under a bit of pressure. Hopes that, as they play more outside Chennai, they will get more wins.

Jaipur skipper Rahul Dravid says that things are looking good and his side needs to win each and every game of the competition. Chennai are a good side and doesn't want to take them lightly. Adds that what they have discussed over the last couple of days is to take one game at a time and perform well. On Tait, he says that the Aussie has been fresh, coming out of an elbow injury. Says that he does not want to give too much of a workload to him and full marks to the fast bowler for doing so well, in spite of coming after a break.

WEATHER - A bit of a bad news first up. It was raining heavily a few hours back but it has cleared up nicely. But, the threat of rain looms.

A warm welcome to all and thanks for staying back for this game after the Delhi-Hyderabad clash. Let's get set for match number 56 of the Indian T20 League between Jaipur and Chennai at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium, Jaipur. After a one-sided game yet an entertaining one previously, hope we get some levelled action in this one. Sit back and enjoy!
