more chandran Dravid denied himself and forIndia an easy cake walk win by not enforcing the follow on; Stupidity norammly also have limits; but Indian captain''s foolish act is all beyond any one''s logic; he does not deserve to lead India any more. more Yasho Greg Chappelle needed one pawn to play his game with Indian cricket because he knew as long as Dada was leading India Greg couldnt. So he choose a Vibhisan (old white philosophy of Divide and Rule) and that was a Shikhandi. Yes Rahul dravid is a shikhandi who back stabbed Saurav. How can one fathom to show bravery from a shiknadi. As long as Dravid is captaining India we will facve these kind of situation. ( Posted: Wednesday, August 15, 2007 at 23:11 )
more prabha Dravid is always selfish...he is not fit as a caption of india...because a army chief should fight when war come...rather he should tell that we are tired so we cannot fight now... ( Posted: Wednesday, August 15, 2007 at 22:45 )
more shashi why there is so much hue and cry going over the margin of victory......for gods sake they are not computers programmed by fans...they are also humans beings ......Atleast for once try to cheer them up....why so much expections from them if we dont fulfill our own expections in life....i am not shoving a moral lecture but have been frustrated by the illogical comments and anguish shown by us on them ...and everytime .....
for me rahul&Co gave us a remarkably good moments to cherish in 20 years and i am greatful to them.
As for zaheer..good going...Well in the match u still got as many overs u needed but u were not able to pull teh same performance of the previous test....see...thats what i am trying to tell...You cannot repeat something behavious all the time......

more jeevarathna The Fact remains Zahir could not get even a single wicket in the second innings, whereas Sreesanth who had failed all series could bowl with lot of verve and passion and get 3 wickets. Cricket is all about getting wickets and not bowling metronomically without purpose. You media guys are fishing and even creating troubled waters ! You people simply do not know how to enjoy a good thing when it happens once in a blue moon. After all in Test Cricket Dravid''s success rate is hard to match in the entire History of Indian cricket. Applaud that instead of trying to create fissures in the Team. ( Posted: Wednesday, August 15, 2007 at 21:54 )
ASHOK you could remember australia with langer and gilchrist chased 400+ on the last day with just 5 wic in hand...we were not like that,we were in such a comfortable position.1-0 lead,338 lead, and there is no point in avoiding follow on.
approximately...assume england gets 450,maximum they can give 1 session for india.....that is 30 overs....or keep 40 overs....i hav a question ...a team which is not confident enough to bat for 40 overs{in a pitch which india got 500 in 1st innings and england got 450 in the second(by our assumption)},is that team elligible to play international cricket?????? K.P. Jayaprakash As all of us know, it was a 100% lost test match for us and it was a narrow escape. So let us forget about giving away a 90% victory chance in the thrid test by not enforcing the follow-on. Had we lost the first test, we should have played for a win in the third test. So let
England also take some pride for drawing thrid test since they were denied of a well deserved victory in the first test. ( Posted: Wednesday, August 15, 2007 at 21:22 )
more Ganesh Probably what Dravid did was correct!
Indian team hardly ever gets a chance to enforce follow on!!!!
and our bowlers or not used to bowl continuously for 2 innings!!!
Ne''ways Dravid is always a non aggressive player who can never take any chance. Look at his batting in second innings.. 12 runs from almost 100 balls (not exact figures) look at the strike rate. he will say wickets falling at other end.
so were the batsman also tired??? ( Posted: Wednesday, August 15, 2007 at 21:15 )
more Naima Why on earth did Zaheer say that? that attitude got him out of the team last year....stupse...i thought Zaheer had a sore?hmm...BTW why is Kiron More so eager to give interviews now that some little controversy is on the making? I HATE KIRON MORE....he said he was surprised that India won the series without a coach on tour...he''s an A-- ( Posted: Wednesday, August 15, 2007 at 21:09 )
Saurabh Chhabra Don''t make too many stories now. As per the history we have won the third series. So, no need to panic. As we have already won the serious. These discussions should be our learning’s, but we must enjoy our series win first. ( Posted: Wednesday, August 15, 2007 at 21:01 )
