New Delhi: Indian team coach Gary Kirsten had raised questions on fitness and level of commitment of Indian players, who performed terribly in the Twenty20 World Cup in the Caribbean.
According to CNN-IBN sources, Kirsten had a one-on-one meeting with 7 senior players after defeat against Sri Lanka. Continue reading below
These players include Yuvraj Singh, Gautam Gambhir, Harbhajan Singh, Zaheer Khan, Ashish Nehra and skipper M S Dhoni and then the rest of the team had a meeting with Kirsten.
It is also learnt that Kirsten had raised question marks about the team's fitness and commitment levels and said he was angry to see that even he is fitter than certain players.
The Indian coach is also reported to have said that the team was content to be number one in Tests and number 2 One-Day Internationals.
