Bridgetown, Barbados: West Indies fast bowler Corey Collymore will return to Barbados from the Champions Trophy in India for the birth of his first child.

In a media release, the West Indies Cricket Board indicated that Collymore will miss the West Indies first Group A match against Australia on Wednesday. He is scheduled to rejoin the West Indies squad after the birth.
"We'll miss Corey. He's a senior player in our side but the first born in anybody's life is a very important time," team coach Bennett King said.
