Abu Dhabi: Pakistan off spinner Saeed Ajmal, who has become the second bowler in the last fortnight to be reported for a suspect bowling action, underwent rehabilitation in 2007.

Previously South African off spinner Johan Botha was reported and is currently being tested by Cricket South Africa (CSA).

There appears to be some truth to the insinuation that the Australians may be behind reporting Saeed Ajmal's for a suspect action.

According to sources, Ajmal underwent a rehabilitation in 2007, but that phase was kept under wraps.

Sources informed that after the NCA spell, Ajmal's action was declared to be in conformity with ICC's regulations.
