New Delhi: The Indian selectors are all set to announce the Indian team after the third One-Dayer in Hyderabad. CNN-IBN has learnt that the Selectors are keen on a rotation policy for the three senior members of the Indian team: Sachin Tendulkar, Sourav Ganguly and Rahul Dravid for the rest of the season.

CNN-IBN has also learnt out of the three, one would be rested in each of the matches to be played by India for the rest of the season. Sources have also confirmed to CNN-IBN, Sachin is likely to be the first player among the three, to be rested, unless he comes up with a big score in the Hyderabad game.

The selectors are keen on building a side for the future and according to sources, this step is aimed at drafting Twenty20 stars like Rohit Sharma into the playing eleven.

Perhaps, the Indian selectors have understood the need to continue with the momentum, especially after the fantastic Twenty20 win. There is a lot of pressure on the selectors to include a lot of youngsters with fresh blood in the team. People like Rohit Sharma, Robin Uthappa who played fantastically in South Africa. At the same time the selectors perhaps feel the need to have two senior members in the team to balance out the composition. So maybe that’s the idea which has come in the selectors’ minds to keep two out of the three senior pros in the team.

Sources told CNN IBN this is the reasoning which the selectors will be working on while picking the team. Two out of three senior members (Tendulkar, Ganguly and Dravid) will definitely be rested.

But if Sachin Tendulkar comes up with a trailblazing knock in Hyderabad, things might change. But as per information from the sources in BCCI, Sachin could be the first person out of the big three to be rested for the forthcoming season and Ganguly and Dravid will be playing. The selectors will work on the permutations and combinations.

But, an intention to build a team for the future is definitely there. There will be more of youth, more of flesh blood and it will be balanced out by experienced and senior pros.
