This very not the loss that bothers me but the wide margin of victory by England. The fact remains that at the critical moments we falter. It would be churlish to blame the umpire for doubtful decisions. The other players should have risen to the occasion. We would always trudge along finding excuses and blaming someone.187 in a clincher game is a paltry figure for even good bowlers to defend.Yet another display of batting debacle despite the big names with crores riding on them. dravid should be kicked out of team as captain... and either him or dhoni should be kept in the team as wc batsman... tendulkar should be captain for whatever time more he wants to play odis and yuvraj as vc and then indian team will start looking up...

It is the ploy of Dravid to make something responsible of poor show, sometimes poor fielding, sometimes absense of allrounder and now poor umpiring. Indian cricket fans are not interested in excuses, but in results. This may be importent for Dravid to convince his BCCI boss who have never played cricket, but Indian fans are too knowledgeble in cricket and cannot be misguided. So Mr. Dravid please explain your performance and dont give any excuse.

in last game dravid lost the chance to win the last odi when he wins the toss then he should refered to field first b/c the team has lot of ability to chase the runs . Dravid also done mistake in this match.he should send dhoni at no 3 position on to bat, b/c he played well at third position.i think sourav is best captaincy.

It is not England that imposed a crushing defeat on India, but the poor string of umpiring decisions that went against India right through the series. Sachin, Saurav, Rahul given out when they are not, it takes away from 350 odd runs from the series. Considering how close the series had been fought, I have only one reason for it. Alistair Cook out on 20, but a howler of an umpiring decision, Cook not given out and goes on to score a hundred and England win the match. The closeness of the series can be attributed to the umpiring decisions and the "Gamesmanship" shown by Collongwood and co.

Vidhushak !
THIS SCRIPT COULD HAVE BEEN WRITTEN AT LEAST ONE OR TWO DAYS EARLIER, AS THE PATTERN IS ALMOST SAME ! WE ALL KNOW WHAT TO EXPECT FROM THE TEAM INDIA UNDER THE INEPT CAPTAIN, HIS WRONG DECISIONS RIGHT FROM OPTING TO BAT IN CONDTIONS AMENABLE FOR SWING BOWLING, FIELD PLACEMENTS, BOWLING CHANGES, ETC .. SO ALSO, DADA''S PATHETIC, I(N)MPATIENT DISPLAY WITH THE BAT, HE CUD HAVE BEEN OUT AT LEAST HALF-A-DOZEN TIMES UNTIL HE EVENTUALLY DID SO .. BOTH THE INDIAN BOWLERS AND THE BATSMEN ARE NOT AT ALL CUT OUT FOR THE FINAL-SHOWDOWN, THEIR NERVES HOLDING THEM UP AGAINST A FORMIDABLE OPPONENT ON THEIR OWN SOIL & IN EVERY DEPT OF THE GAME ! THERE WERE A COUPLE OF UMPIRING HOWLERS, BUT HOW DO YOU EXPLAIN AN ORDY BOWLER LIKE DIMITRI BEING GIFTED WITH THREE WICKETS, INSTEAD OF SOME OF HIS BALLS BEING CLEARED OFF THE GROUND ! YUVRAJ, GAMBHIR & UTHAPPA PROVED TO BE ONE-GAME HEROES AND THEY''RE INCAPABLE OF RISING TO THE BIG OCCASIONS LIKE THE LORD''S. THE BCCI & THE SELECTORS WOULD DO WELL TO LOOK FOR A CAPABLE CAPTAIN, AT LEAST FOR THE SHORTER FORMATS OF THE GAME. IN FACT, HE IS THE WEAKEST CAPTAIN INDIA HAS EVER HAD !

I donot care if india wins or loose , but it appears india throughout the series was target of bad umpiring . It is more strange to see that no one is comming out in open in media . If the same thing would have happened in Australia it would have been a big media evnt but looks like we were treated with bad intentions in umpiring and it is strange to see neither the captain nor anyone raising their head
