London: Skipper of the England team Kevin Pietersen has revealed that his players had left their cricket kits, including flannels, behind at the Taj Mahal Hotel, which was one of the several places attacked by terrorists from the past three days.
"If we’re looking what’s going on at the moment, all our cricket stuff is at the Taj hotel so we’ll be the first team to play a Test match in blues," Pietersen has been quoted as saying in the media.
The England team, which was trailing 0-5 in the seven-match One-Day series, cut short their tour and flew back home on Saturday from Bangalore, after terrorists strike killed over 180 people and injured another 350 with the Taj Mahal hotel being the last building to be freed from terrorists' clutches on Saturday.
Pietersen has now revealed that players who were part of the Test team had left behind their Test cricket kits at the Taj Mahal hotel, which was the place they were supposed to stay after the One-Day series got over, so they could pick them up upon arrival in India for the Test series.
