Gambhir most prolific Indian batsman

New Delhi: Gautam Gambhir ended the series as the leading Indian batsman with 445 runs at 89.00 with two hundreds and one fifty. Gambhir has now aggregated 2,271 runs from 25 Tests.

This is the highest run-aggregate by any Indian batsman after exactly 25 Tests. Gambhir bettered little master Sunil Gavaskar’s record. Have a look:
