Mohali: Over the last couple of decades Sachin Tendulkar has carried the burden of a billion expectations and he has done that with poise and grace. In an interview with CNN-IBN, the great man spoke of the passions that drive him and a lot more.

Sachin Tendulkar: Whoever used to meet me only used to keep on telling me that 'you will have to break the record and when are you going to do it and all that', so answering these questions every now and then, I got a little fed up and said ‘leave me alone’. I just want to go out there and play my game. Enjoy cricket and not worry about breaking a record. So, I am quite relieved that I won't have to answer these questions any more.

CNN-IBN: You have played 19 years of cricket and you are the highest run-getter in One-Day cricket and now you have become the highest run-getter in Test cricket as well. You also have most number of centuries in both version of the game. Could you have asked for a better deal or if I ask you to rewind your life, would you like to change the script a little bit or you are very happy with the way the things are?

Sachin Tendulkar: I am happy but not satisfied. I would have liked more definitely. You always look back in your career and feel that 'Oh! I shouldn't have missed that or I should have done this or that.' So, I am happy but not satisfied as there is lot more to happen.
