New Delhi: Fans of Twenty20 international cricket can look forward another exciting offering soon.

If plans materialise, then India, Australia and South Africa will lock horns in a Twenty20 Super Series next year.

The tournament is planned for next year either in South Africa or Australia on the lines of the rugby tri-series which is held between Australia, South Africa and New Zealand every year.

Venues and other details such as prize money for the event haven't been finalised yet and in a crowded calendar it will be a challenge to organise.

Under ICC regulations, national teams are allowed to play only seven Twenty20 internationals in a year.
