Mumbai: Indian skipper Anil Kumble is a man of many hobbies, including photographing his teammates in different moods and capturing nature in its different forms.
During India's ongoing tour of Sri Lanka, Kumble's fans saw another shade of the great leg-spinner when he took off to a nearby bird sanctuary, which is located about two kilometres from the players' hotel in Galle for bird-watching.
"On Monday, when most of his teammates were relaxing after celebrating India's 170-run victory in the second Test at Galle, the skipper made his way to the bird sanctuary armed with his favourite zoom lens camera," according to an Indian team official.
"He not only enjoyed every minute by spending hours at the bird sanctuary but went around recommending the place to all his teammates," the official added.
