Kanpur: Lawrance Fernando, the security adviser of the Sri Lankan cricket team, is satisfied with the arrangements being made for the upcoming Test match at the Green Park stadium here but wants local security agencies to adopt hi-tech measures.

Fernando made his suggestion after taking stock of the security arrangements for the tour's second Test which will begin on November 24.

"After visiting hotels and stadiums in Ahmedabad and Kanpur, we are satisfied with all the arrangements at both the places. But the security system needs to go hi-tech," Fernando told reporters.

Fernando said India was different from Pakistan where the Lankan team became a target of the terrorist and ruled out any such attack in India.

But still the security agencies should not take any risk and made their system more high-tech, he said.
