New Delhi: Former Pakistan captain and the director-general of the Pakistan Cricket Board, Javed Miandad has said the PCB is under a lot of pressure from the public and the media to include ICL players in the national team.

Miandad has accused the BCCI of 'bullying tactics' which have caused players to suffer. He said the BCCI should join hands with ICL, and hoped that both the IPL and the ICL could co-exist. Miandad said that the PCB is being pressurised to include players like Imran Nazir, Rana Naved-ul-Hassan and Imran Farhat in the national team.

After the BCCI banned Indian players who joined the ICL, all the member boards of the Test playing nations including Pakistan also followed the dictat. But Pakistan, it seems, has suffered the most with major Pakistan stars signing up with the rebel league. The Pakistan team in the ICL, Lahore Badshahs, which won the Twenty20 tournament this year is led by former skipper Inzamam-ul-Haq and includes players like Imran Nazir, Imran Farhat, Mohd. Sami and the latest recruit Mohd. Yousuf.
