Kolkata: Former ICL rebel Rohan Gavaskar was on Monday roped in by Indian Premier League team Kolkata Knight Riders as their two-day conditioning camp began at the Eden Gardens here.

"Yes, we have signed up Gavaskar," Knight Riders captain and former India skipper Ganguly said before leaving the camp.

The junior Gavaskar came and donned the Knight Riders jersey before joining the team-mates during the practice.

Coach Dav Whatmore and Ganguly conducted the camp which was also attended by former ICL pacers Ganapathi Vignesh of Tamil Nadu and Eklakh Ahmed of Bengal.

Ganguly had a light training and net session.
