Ahmedabad: Spinners let India down big time in the first Test against Sri Lanka here with both Amit Mishra and Harbhajan Singh going for more than 150 each with only one wicket so far.
This provided only the second instance when two Indian spinners conceded 150 runs in the same innings of a home Test. Overall, it was the sixth such instance for India.
India must be praying the Test match does not go like Colombo Test in 1997-98 when two Indian spinners conceded 200 runs off their bowling and another missed by just five runs!
