Suresh Raina was the pick of the players in the fourth ODI against Sri Lanka. His pugnacious knock of 76 and a crucial stand of 143 with skipper Mahendra Dhoni helped India score a challenging 258 at the Premdasa Stadium.

Coming in to bat at 51-2, Raina smashed six fours and a six off 78 deliveries. It was not just the runs that were important but the way they were scored.

The left-hander was cautious yet aggressive, running well between the wickets and also unleashing big strokes. He was unafraid to loft the ball and also played the inside-out shots to perfection, ensuring that the bowlers could not settle down in line and length.
