Dhaka: He isn't 20 yet but Tamim Iqbal is already one of the most important batsmen in the Bangladesh line-up. The left-handed opener caught the eye with a half century that helped sink India at the 2007 World Cup.

Tamim Iqbal: They (India) played very good cricket against Pakistan. They bowled, fielded and batted very well. We also have a match against India but if we all can give our 100 per cent, we can have a positive result.

CNN-IBN: Everyone is talking about how India have got a youthful side but the actual youthful side is yours where the average age is 21-22, so how is the atmosphere in the dressing room?

Tamim Iqbal: Yes, everyone is vrey young and if all of us can play a lot of matches in the coming years, then we can gain some confidence. Let's see what happens.

CNN-IBN: Will the result of the last year's World Cup would there be in the back of your minds when you take on India in the One-Dayer?

Tamim Iqbal: The last three matches we played against India, we won one and lost two but all three matches were close. We played against India at home, where two matches were very close. So, keeping in mind all that, I can say that we will play very good cricket tomorrow. There can be some positive results for us as well.

CNN-IBN: You play very positive cricket at the top of the order and India have got Praveen Kumar and Ishant Sharma, who are not that experienced but have done well. Are you looking forward to have a go against them?

Tamim Iqbal: Actually, they are very good bowlers. I have been following them from a long time now - since the Australian tour. I just want to play my game and don't want to think about them. If the ball is there to hit, I will hit it.
