Woolmer's body reaches Cape Town

Durban: The body of slain Pakistan cricket coach Bob Woolmer arrived in Cape Town from London this morning for a private funeral.
A local funeral parlour received the body from customs at the Cape International Airport. After an identification process, Woolmer's body was taken to a mortuary in the suburb of Somerst West.
Jamaica's Deputy Police Commissioner Mark Shields accompanied the body to Cape Town.
Shields met local police officials and he is expected to brief Woolmer's widow Gill and other family members about the progress being made in the investigations into the ex-Pakistan
coach's murder.
Woolmer was allegedly strangled to death in his hotel room in Kingston a day after Pakistan's first-round exit from the World Cup.
Woolmer's body was released on Monday after an inquest into his death was postponed indefinitely because of "significant developments" in the case.
Woolmer's family in Cape Town said the funeral would be a private family ceremony. No details of the funeral have been disclosed at this stage.
