Zaheer likely to play in Lanka Test series

Mumbai: India's pace spearhead Zaheer Khan is all set to make a comeback to international cricket after putting in an impressive performance in his first competitive match since returning from injury.

He bowled 42 overs in Mumbai's Ranji Trophy match against Punjab, taking match figures of seven wickets for 152.

The fast bowler is now certain to be picked for the Test series against Sri Lanka starting from 16th of this month.

Zaheer had last played for India at the World Twenty20 in England before pulling out of the Champions Trophy with a shoulder injury.
