Zaheer Khan stole the show as India saved the first Test against Australia in Bangalore with his all-round show.

The left-arm pacer first helped India keep the Australians to 430 in the first innings with a spectacular spell of 5-91 in the first innings.

Then the 30-year-old saved India from conceding a huge lead to the world's number one Test team, as he dug in with an unbeaten 57 which included an 80-run stand with Harbhajan Singh to take India's first innings tally to 360 before being bowled out.

The result means India and Australia proceed to Mohali for the second Test on even terms, and the pacer's man of the match performance means India's bowling attack will be out to repeat its bowling performance.
