What a spine-tingling match it had been? At one moment it seemed like England will romp home to lead the series but then Mills with his heroics helped the visitors clinch a close battle. Needing just 3 runs off the final over, Mills took a single off the first ball showing faith in Gillespie. But Gillespie made the equations tight unable to connect on 4 occasions. It was do or die situation off the final ball. Gillespie connected and ran for a single, the fielder who had a shy at the stumps gave a chance for them to take the second run to ensure victory and lead the series 2-1 with one match left. Bell had some injury worries but has been declared fit for the fourth ODI. New Zealand will hope that Elliott will continue his good touch and play a handy innings in this match.
