Mixed emotions for Pietersen as England win the match by 6 wickets but lose the series 2-1. It will be a good morale boosting win for the Poms going into the One-off Twenty20 Internationsl and the 5 match ODI series. England after losing the series came out all guns firing to hit a shot in the arms of the relentless Proteas. Clinical victory for England, debutant Test captain Pietersen has smiles all over his face. England did well to bowl out South Africa for 194 runs in the first innings and then piling on a lead of 122 runs. South Africa then overtook the lead and set the Poms a target of 197 which the hosts chased with a session left on the final day. Pietersen was the Man of the Match for his knock of 100 and the Man of the Series for England. Smith was the Man of the Series for South Africa. Thats all from us for the day have a nice time.
