Second Innings
Batting : England
Bowling : India

England beat India by 7 wickets and clinch the series 4-3. England have won an ODI series on home soil after a three years gap and have taken revenge over India for their Test series loss. England's chase had early hiccups as RP Singh got rid of both the openers as early in the 2nd over. But first a 63 runs stand between Bell and Pietersen and then a consolidated unbeaten 114 runs partnership between the skipper and Pietersen took game away from India. Apart from the early blows, Indian bowling looked out of sorts throughout the innings. Pietersen pocketed the Man of the Match award for his blistering unbeaten knock of 71 runs. Ian Bell deservingly won the Man of the series award for his 422 runs in this series. So, England will be going into the WT20 champiopnship with high morale after their series win whereas India will be a bit disappointed for their performance today.
