The under-19 players to be included in the Indian Premier League (IPL) will be drafted and there will be no bids on them, BCCI vice-president and IPL Commissioner Lalit Modi told cricketnext.com on Friday. The draft format has been put into place, where all the 16 players will be put in the same bracket of $30,000.
India won the U-19 World Cup in 2000 in Sri Lanka under the captaincy of Mohd Kaif.
Amid a thick security cover, both teams arrived for the Test to be held from Feb 14-18.
