David n Goliath isnt Myth mr.chesterfield if you read history books or the Bible youll see that its more than just a story...

Sir Don Bradman played crticket in a different era with limited body guards and pratically no monetary support. With no commercialisation, the game was above anything else.

Your comment suggests you don’t fully understand the word myth in the context in which the author wrote this Bradman tribute. Myth also means allegory: in other words, tale, story or legend, which can also be likened to star or icon, superstar. But you nitpickers are all the same, instead of enjoying what is written your first thoughts are to criticise without appreciating the comments. Or is it because it is written by a Westerner.

Bradman is a true legend and no one matches him. He holds records in era when there were no advance coachings, sports kits, laptop coaches, and those records still stand tall for averages. Playing more matches and making more runs doesnt matter without high averages, also when you compare ODI career one should remember that there were no field restrictions until lately. The only next best who comes closes is Viv Richards.

I agree with Shredder there, it isn\''t a myth, its indeed proven to be a reality, I guess that means very little to you, which doesn\''t really matter.

Cheers
