Poor Mr. Greg Chapell. Nobody may remember him today, but in just one year all his predictions about oldies and gen-next of Indian cricket have come true!

Well said Mr.Sawkar, these people targeted Greg for his new vision, bcos they want tendulkar to play till he dies. I cant understand one thing what tendulkar did for India? has he won world cup, test match victory abroad, test series victory abroad, or one day series victory abroad??? people may say he won triseries in australia. Well if a player who won matches for his side after 20 years should we call him greatest??? he is afterall players. folks remember Kaif & Yuvraj won us in England. Both of them only two year old in international cricket. who is the best??? Kaif/Yuvraj or Tendulkar... folks please understand the concept first..... Ex. Desmond Haynes scored more runs than Viv Richards in one day cricket, but Haynes was not the best batsman, mind you richards was simply bcos we won matches more than Haynes....

Hi Ramesh,

If at all SriLanka won the toss, batted first and bowled India to the series leveller then also can you say that win is because of pitch and luck? When a SL bowler can able to put some runs on the board at the end why not high qualified SL top and middle order batsmen cannot make?

congrats to india for winning the series.but india should not be over joyed or over estimate their capabilities as winning the toss gave india alomost 60% advantage over sri lanka.anybody watching the match saw how the conditions changed after the lights came on in both matches in colombo.and in dambulla batting first proved to be disaster for both india and sri lanka. India to prove their strength must put sri lanka in to bat if they win the toss in the next match and beat them .then I would say the indian team is really good ,rather than trying to hide behind the toss and win and then talk big.

hi, its not all about winning the young indians, showed that they are better than the senior player, there no point in saying its 5 day game or a 1 day game atlast it matter of bat and ball.....dhoni dit it ,,he wanted to prove it so he skip from the test series...................

It is highly unwarranted and insunuating to categorise this 1day series win as a \"youngter`s win\" etc..Usually the media analysts and commentators get away with anything as there is nothing strong enough to rein them in..Freedom with high irresponsibilty is their motto it seems..

hey ,why r u talking abt yuvraj, wen we r celebrating our sucess.
ya may be a 20% of luck is there, but only luck will not fetch an individual score of 76,71,54. pls think over. and wickets will not fall due to luck,i think it is a team work, which got succeded. and something i need to say u,did u watch the match! u will see an real indian cricketer who is struggling for runs, inspite of having fever, that is dhoni.if u saw that u would not have told that our win is 90% based on luck.i am sorry if hurted u,but we should love and support our country.glad to meet u.c u take care bye.
